Moder media that are ( intentionally or not ) based?

Posted under General

As title says. Any examples of media that are based and were made recently ( let's say from 2010 to current year ) and aren't woke garbage? Or media that wanted to be woke garbage but ended up begin based for some reason?

It may be anime movie game anything, I want to watch something without propaganda without needing to watch old 40's movies or 80's anime

80s anime? Most of anime isnt woke, thats one of the reason people on the right like it.

Harry Potter depicts magical bankers as goblins, and I think that’s the pretty unintentionally funny. People would probably also say the Barbie movie cause of a bunch of reasons, mainly that when the Ken’s take over Barbie Land, it becomes better and the Barbies are happier under it, and they just.. did it, kinda reflects our own predicament. I’d say that’s also more unintentional because the director of that movie was very feminist

Well apparently The Boys and the first Joker movie were unintentionally based because the creators went on to go “Noooo, you weren’t supposed to like my movie THAT way!”

The Pixar movie Wish isn’t based or woke per se but it does highlight the essence of those two “ideologies”, for lack of a better word. The dumb bitch wanting to grant every wish was presented as the protagonist even though what she wants is naïve and dangerous, while the King is the bad guy because he’s being reasonable and understands that everyone can’t have everything they want or THINK they want.

Another example I can think of off the top of my head is the first Wonder Woman movie. I don’t think it was trying to be woke since Wonder Woman isn’t bitchy and pretentious enough to give me that impression (plus she’s not a lesbian since she ends up sleeping with the male lead (who, yes, was a white man)). However it ended up being kind of based since it ironically portrays the male trying to fight in WW1 in a realistic way for realistic reasons, meanwhile Diana is childishly looking for some archetypal Dark Lord that she thinks she can kill and end the war. Of course she ends up being vindicated in the end when she finds and kills Aries (who was terribly casted might I add), but it’s still a pretty entertaining movie.
